RENTON, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Parallels announced today that Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac (parallels.com/desktop) provides experimental support for Windows 10 Technical Preview and Office Preview for Windows 10 which includes Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Now users who wish to try the newest OS from Microsoft safely and easily can do so without the inconvenience of deleting an existing OS or the uncertainty of installing a new and nonfinal version of Windows 10 directly on their machines. The Parallels Wizard makes it simple to download the Windows 10 Technical Preview directly from within Parallels Desktop, creating a virtual machine to try out everything Windows 10 has to offer, including such features as the new Start menu, Photos, Maps app, Cortana and Windows Store beta which offers Office Preview for Windows 10.

Students and exam-takers downloading the test-taking software, Examplify, should review these Minimum System Requirements (MSRs) to ensure their devices are supported. Examplify works with most modern computers, both Mac and Windows operating systems. To keep Examplify current in the rapidly evolving market, when new technology is introduced, Examplify works hard to timely implement updates that accommodate changes in technologies. It is not always possible, however, to support all hardware or software, unless and until we test and certify updated technologies, including chipsets and operating systems.
So I need to download an ISO or VHDX file of Windows 10 Pro for ARM architecture for college. I use a mac with the M1 processor but the download pages for Microsoft windows only offer windows 11 arm and not windows 10 arm. I previously used Windows 10 Pro and have a digital license, but need the edition for arm architecture to run in my virtual machine software.
Can you provide me the that win 10 arm.vhdx file in Google drive link !! I need it urgently for my school project and currently in the website I have to be member of the windows insider program to download that file.
Thanks! I've already reached it. I used this site to download the windows 10 ARM version, I had tryed some versions and the 21390 worked for me. I also choose the option to download the iso in one click, so I didn't have to convert any type of file.
Sorry, I forgot to say one thing. I did the download into another PC in a windows 10 x64. On mac, using the site that I`ve sent and another sites, it always broken up. Try to download like this image bellow, this works to me:
The problem that I have is, I downloaded Win 10 Insider preview 10.0.21382.1000 (co_release) [arm64]. I could installed in my macbook pro M1 using parallels, but it said that the build is expired. Install a new build of windows now. The 21390 build is hasn't Internet Explorer 11 (was removed). I need it to run a banking site. I dont know what to do.
edit : additional problems that I ran into, You should check .NET framework 3.5 before downloading the iso because it might be difficult to install later if you need internet explorer and that's why you use windows 10 instead of 11 I recommend that you do that
And if it IS supported, then when will we actually be able to do so? Because I am suffering from the same problem as topic starter. New version of Parallels 8, Windows 7 clean install, all updates, and still get an error after downloading and installing AAM.
windows key + R, and type %APPDATA% in the box and press enter....then go up one folder to local, then to the Adobe folder where you will find OOBE folder. Rename to OOBEold. Then right click on CC App Manager and run as administrator. You will now see a list of apps to download instead of the Download Error.
I responded back saying how it's been working for a year and I have always used it in parallels and all they did was copy and paste there first response back to me again about how they don't support it.
There are lots of improvements in Parallels Desktop for M1 Mac users seeking to run Windows apps, but the biggest one seems to be the ability to download, install, and configure Windows 11 on your Mac in a virtual Parallels environment in one click. The company introduced support for Windows on ARM chips in Parallels Desktop 17, but installation of the OS is now built in and you no longer need to use the Insider preview version of Windows 11 for ARM.
Next, open Boot Camp Assistant. You'll find it inside Utilities in the Applications folder on your Mac, but it's faster to search with Spotlight (Cmd + Space) to open it. Follow the on-screen prompts to partition your hard drive, download Windows support drivers, and install your dual boot system.
You also need to download support files from Boot Camp to ensure your Mac hardware works with Windows. Open Boot Camp Assistant in macOS and select Action > Download Windows Support Software from the menu bar.
Virtualizing the Arm version of Windows still isn't officially supported by Microsoft. The company only licenses the Arm version of Windows to PC makers who are building PCs with Arm processors. This means jumping through lots of extra hoops to get Windows installed in VMware Fusion in the first place, since you can't simply download an ISO file as you can for the x86 version of Windows. You need to download a Hyper-V disk image of a Windows 11 beta build from Microsoft's Windows Insider site, convert the .VHDX file to a VMware-compatible VMDK file using separately downloaded Qemu software, create a virtual machine using that disk file, and then continue to install new beta builds as they're available so that the build you're using doesn't expire.
Nice. To run Windows 11, it does provide the expected virtual TPM 2.0 support, UEFI, Secure Boot, etc. to meet the Windows hardware requirements. And of course it can download and install various flavors of Linux as well.
Note: Parallels Desktop for Mac emulates PC hardware, so operating systems that are not present in this list can work as well. You can download the Parallels Desktop trial and install an operating system of your choice. If it doesn't work and you believe it should be supported, let us know at Parallels Forum. 2ff7e9595c
